Location

Closely knit campus of Atmavallabh Hospital is located on state highway 1 kilometer away from Idar Bus Stand and 2 kilometers from railway station.

It is connected with Himatnagar -Ahmedabad on south side, Ambaji and Abu on north side, Smalaji-Dungarpur-Sagwara- Pratappur- Banswara in north east and Vijaynagar -Falasiya - Zadol- Udaipur northwest side by national/state highways.

Hospital building is stretched over 20000 sq. ft. area & can accommodate 100 patients

Infrastructure

Ground floor – Front wing

It has Reception and case registration counter & administrative Block with enough waiting area,

Ground floor – Back wing

Medical and Surgical OPD, Four rooms for eye examination, with separate, Spectacle shoppe, Dental unit, Space for dispensing basic medicines at subsidised cost, Medical laboratory and Blood Bank. There is ample waiting area in OPD in back wing.

First and second floor- front wing

Special and Semi-special rooms, a post operative ward General wards & nursing station on First floor and three Operation Theatres, serve general medical and surgical patients.

First floor- back wing

Two operation theatres, a block room, small pre-operative waiting area for five patients with proper isolation. Pre operative Foot washing and cloth changing room, Nursing Station, special and semi special room and waiting area to accommodate 25 patients makes a OT complex,

On other side there are two general wards and a isolation room with can accommodate 40 patients.

Hospital has facilities of elevator, 125 KV generator andSolid waste management system.

General Operation theatres are equipped with modern gadgets like anesthesia trolley, Multi-para monitors, Defibrillator, C-arm X-ray with I.I.T.V. & Cautery machine.

Eye OPD is equipped with 5 Chair units, Autorefractometer and slit lamps. It has Non contact tonometer, Ocular C.T. Scan, A Scan ,B scan, Fundus Camera & ND yag laser and Green laser machines.

Two eye operation theatres are equipped by three Operating Microscopes and a Phaco-emulsifying unit. They are given proper isolation. Strict aseptic protects are maintained to prevent infection

Dental departmenthas three chair units and is well equipped with all modern gadgets including digital x-ray and microscope. It has facilities for placing implants and treatment of fractures.

Blood bank is also well equipped including blood component centrifuge, cryo freezer (-80 C*) and platelet agitator a plasma freeze (-40 C*) and  three BBR ( 2-6 C) Elisa reader and washer.

In house diagnostic facilities  includes300 MA X-ray & portable Ultra-Sound. Laboratory with Auto analyzer& cell counter

Being established by a surgeon, Atmavallabh hospital is well known as surgical unit. Surgeons performs such a wonderful job that a pain of inflamed appendix and urinary stone goes away, intestinal obstruction or perforation is cured, a lump weather small or big cancerous or benign is removed, bleeding from piles or uterus is stopped, fractured jaw is fixed and impacted tooth is removed. We conduct 10 to 12 surgeries a day. Smiling face of the cured patients & their relatives fills our heart with joy.  

In future we want to add facilities of ICU trauma care. Moreover we will recruit physician and paedtrician soon.
