So humanitarian activities is our prime goal.

Health care to human is just one path we have focused on.

From the beginning society has actively participated in all humanitarian work.

• Polio Camp

Hospital was started in Feb. 1991 and in September our organized a polio Camp to detect disabled children due to polio in association with P.N.R. Society, Bhavnagar.  Dr J.N. Wilson, internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon and Vice Chairman of Impact Foundation of England inaugurated it. 546 beneficiaries attended it. 36 persons were operated for corrective surgeries.

• Enable the disabled – Prevent Avoidable Blindness

Having experienced the agony of disability we decided to do something for them. Our  program to Enable the Disabled inaugurated on 31-12-1995 by health Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel. We realized that polio was irradicated and so the disability following it was reducing fast. So we focused on preventing avoidable blindness. We have got reasonable success in it and the journey is continuing….

• Jiv Daya Abhiyan – Relief during Famine

Our region is draught prone. Due to scanty rainfall our area was caught in famine. We started Jivdaya Abhiyan on 16-04-2000. Local people and donors from outside and local NGO participated equally.

• Our trustees and members donated money to build four tankers.
• Some Local persons provided water source free at ate same time few gave their tractors free and also served as drivers without any charge
• while cost of fuel was born by local NGO.
• We raised fund to purchase grass from outside and distributed to villages with the help of local farmers.

In three months, we provided grass and water to nearly 45 villages of Idar and vadali.

• Distribution of Clothes

During my trip to USA i got information that Ratnanidhi Charitable trust will provide me used clothes for distributing free to local poor. We worked on it and successfully distributed for many years.

• Relief activities during Earthquake

Medical Relief

• Earthquake ruined Kutchchha district on 21-01-2000. We decided to provide medical services to its victim. Local doctors came forward to voluntarily. A team of nearly 20 persons, 8 doctors of different speciality, 11 paramedics and a cook with medical equipments including a portable operation table reached Anjar on 28^th. We served hundred of wounded for a week.

Relief to animals

• In such crisis when it was difficult to care for all human who will care for animals.

Moreover during even minor aftershocks these frightened animals rushed here and there and got injured by colliding with each other and damaged infrastructure.  So Shardaba decided to serve animals. she formed a team of four veterinary doctors, four carpenters, four mason and other 8 volunteers, a cook and a helper. She divided them in two teams. One team served for a week. They treated hundreds of wounded animals in Rapar and Bhachau. Moreover they repaired the infrastructure. It took more than a month to finish the job satisfactorily. Shardaba stayed there from 18-02-2001 to 03-03-2001.

Care of Elderly

• Once the medical crisis was over it was time to provide shelter and food especially to elderly. We made a survey and provided support to 500 elderly. We received financial aid and guidance of Help Age India.

Wheelchair, tricycles and crutches to victims by Rotary Foundation

• Earthquake had affected whole Gujarat and many people were disabled. Dr Dinesh approached local Rotary club andRotary club of queen necklace, Bombay. A matching grant project was approved by Rotary International Foundation. We distributed wheelchair, tricycles and crutches to 769 persons.

Society has continued supporting other local NGOs in distribution of clothes occasionally, and blankets during winter.
